Conditions of purchase
These conditions apply between you as an orderer (customer) and us as a seller (Stjernfelt Photo orgnr: 556775-2885).
Stjernfelt Photo only sells to private individuals and organizations/companies. We also reserve the right to refuse or change your order. We reserve ourselves for possible final sale of goods. All attempted frauds are reported to the police. We reserve the right to cancel a purchase if fraud is suspected.
An order confirmation will be sent by e-mail when you have completed your order. It contains details of the contents of the order. If something is wrong with your order, please contact our customer service immediately.
Order and contracting party
All regular orders are placed via our website, www.StjernfeltPhoto.se. We consider the person who places the order with his or her social security number to be a contractual party. If you order from an organization or a company, we assume that the person placing the order has power of attorney for the organization and that this organization is a contractual party.
Price and payment
When ordering, the prices listed on the website apply. Prices are given in Swedish kronor and include VAT. Prices do not include payment and shipping fees, which are stated separately.
Our prices are in Swedish kronor. VAT is included on all items at 25%, all prices on the website are shown including VAT.
We reserve the right to change prices without prior notice for any incorrectly priced products. You always pay the price shown when your order is placed, if you have purchased an item at an incorrect price you will be notified and your money will be refunded.
Payment is selected on the website from the payment options presented. If invoice payment or partial payment is chosen, we or our partners may make a credit check. You will be informed of this in such cases.
Offers and promotions
Stjernfelt Photo can change its prices and campaigns for the products on the website at any time without prior notice. Both in terms of prices of products but also in terms of shipping and payment methods. Most of these campaigns are time-limited and can be added and withdrawn at any time without prior notice.
Normally, goods are delivered within the number of working days indicated:
- Posters/ Prints 3-5 working days
- Frames and framed designs 10-15 working days
- Special designs according to the time specified in the product.
The expected delivery time is shown on the product page, at the checkout and on the order confirmation. If a delivery takes more than 30 working days, unless otherwise agreed, and the late delivery is not due to you as a customer, you have the right to cancel the purchase.
For parcels to be collected from an agent, you must do so within the time specified in the notification. Normally, parcels must be collected in person with valid identification and order number. You will receive a notification showing where and when parcels are to be picked up. Notification can be made by e-mail, regular mail or via mobile SMS or phone call. In the event that you do not collect the package, Stjernfelt Photo has the right to charge you a fee corresponding to the original freight.
If you as a customer discover that a shipment is visibly damaged in transit, this should be reported immediately to the parcel agent. If you discover that the contents are damaged during unpacking, please contact email@example.com as soon as possible.
The sender will be either Stjernfelt Photo or Digital knowledge Sweden AB (our registered company name).
Right of withdrawal
When purchasing goods on StjernfeltPhoto.se, the statutory 14-day right of withdrawal applies. You thus have the right to cancel your purchase provided that you notify Stjernfelt Photo of this within 14 days of you or your agent receiving the goods ordered (the withdrawal period).
If a product has been sealed, you may not break the seal to exercise your right of withdrawal. This applies, for example, to frames in their packaging. The right of withdrawal ends when you open the protective packaging around a frame.
Goods that are excluded from the right of withdrawal:
- Framed motifs (when the original packaging of the frame is broken).
- Unique designs such as custom-made designs, original designs in bulky sizes. (A separate email is always sent out in these cases as a reminder to cancel the purchase before the start of production.
- Gift vouchers
If you want to cancel the purchase, you must, before the cancellation period has expired, send a clear message to Stjernfelt Photo that you want to make a return and on which goods. Send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org and state your name, address and other relevant information, such as order number, invoice number and name of the product in the message. You can also use the standard form for exercising the right of withdrawal produced by the Swedish Consumer Agency (see www.konsumentverket.se).
In the case where you use the right of withdrawal, you pay the return shipping and you are also responsible for the condition of the goods after you have received the goods and during the return shipping. From the date when Stjernfelt Photo receives your message that you wish to make a return, you have 30 days to send the goods to us. The goods must be sent well packaged, in good condition and in the original box.
For returns, Stjernfelt Photo will refund the amount you paid for the item, including delivery costs. If you return part of an order, the delivery costs will not be refunded. If you have handled the product to a greater extent than is necessary to determine its function or properties and thus caused any kind of damage, Stjernfelt Photo has the right to deduct a sum from the amount refunded, corresponding to the reduction in value of the returned goods.
Stjernfelt Photo will pay back the amount as soon as possible, at the latest within 14 days from the date we received the goods if we have also received information that the right of withdrawal wants to be invoked.
Warranty & complaints
You have a 2-year right of complaint on goods purchased from Stjernfelt Photo. The right of complaint covers goods that are defective according to current consumer protection legislation. If you have received a damaged product, you must contact Stjernfelt Photo as soon as possible after the error is discovered. The easiest way to do this is through our "Complaint form" or by emailing pictures of both the damaged goods and the damaged package to email@example.com.
Stjernfelt Photo is responsible for return shipping in case of approved complaints.
When the claimed product has been returned and the claim has been approved, Stjernfelt Photo will compensate you according to applicable consumer protection legislation. Stjernfelt Photo reserves the right to refuse a complaint if it turns out that the product is not defective according to current consumer protection legislation. If you want to return a product, fill in our returns/complaints form on the website. We will then send you a return slip. It is you as a customer who pays any return shipping unless otherwise stated. You can also email firstname.lastname@example.org
You as a consumer/buyer pay any return costs in cases where you as a consumer exercise any right of withdrawal.
Stjernfelt Photo pays any return costs for the return of the claimed product when the claim has been approved.
Dispute and applicable law
Resolution of disputes shall primarily be resolved by consensus after discussion with Stjernfelt Photo's customer service. If a dispute cannot be resolved by mutual agreement with Stjernfelt Photo's customer service, you, as the customer, have the right to claim compensation. Stjernfelt Photo follows decisions from ARN or equivalent dispute resolution bodies.
Any dispute concerning the interpretation or application of these terms and conditions shall be interpreted in accordance with Swedish law and shall be settled in a Swedish public court.
We reserve the right to make typographical errors, errors in information and errors in specification on all items and services in our range. All image information on our pages should be seen as illustrations, and we cannot guarantee that the image reproduces the exact appearance and nature of the product.
